International recognition

Our commitment in the field of biomass and bio-energy is widely recognised. 

The active and positive role of EUBIA in the promotion of international cooperation has been widely acknowledged. In January 2004, EUBIA was awarded by the European Commission for the Best Renewable Energy Partnership with Developing Countries, within the framework of the Campaign for the Development of Renewable Energies Sources, foreseen by the European White Book (Campaign for Take-Off for Renewable Energies). EUBIA is also a campaign associate of the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign.

EUBIA is opening major co-operation and business opportunities in third countries, in particular in China, Brazil and the Russian Federation, all of which represent wide and promising bioenergy markets. The most recent achievement consist in a Framework Agreement signed between EUBIA and the Russian Federation (through the Federal Agency of Science and Innovation) and aiming to improve mutual cooperation within the bio energy field.
