Side events and activities run in parallel to the official climate change negotiations attracting a broad range of participants from policymakers, to industry, Ngos and media. At this COP15 the spectrum of events is wide and alternative energy side events and activities feature on the agenda. The events are mainly hosted and organized by both delegates to the COP and official observers including Ngos, and trade associations.
