The International Energy Agency (IEA) is an international agency with the task to act as advisor and to support the energy policies and the specific sectors in question in the 26 countries that form part of the agency, which features all the most important industrialised countries. It is hence an important institution, whose activity is focused on the analysis of the problems related to the “energy issue” and to the identification of possible ways to solve them, also on the basis of sharing different related experiences.
