The Waste Package, which contains four legislative proposals, belongs to\u00a0the Circular economy package submitted by the European Commission on 3d of December 2015.<\/p>\n<p class=\"title\">The Waste Package introduces minimum thresholds for recycling municipal waste (65%) and plastic packaging (55%) by 2030, as well as reduce landfill to a maximum of 10% by 2035 (established for the first time).
