The programme\u2019s Societal Challenge 2 addresses issues regarding \u201cFood security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine, maritime and inland water research and the Bioeconomy\u201d. In particular, the calls of SC2 are divided in: Sustainable Food Security; Rural renaissance; and Blue Growth. The <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/participants\/portal\/desktop\/en\/opportunities\/h2020\/calls\/h2020-rur-2018-2020.html#c,topics=callIdentifier\/t\/H2020-RUR-2018-2020\/1\/1\/1\/default-group&amp;callStatus\/t\/Forthcoming\/1\/1\/0\/default-group&amp;callStatus\/t\/Open\/1\/1\/0\/default-group&amp;callStatus\/t\/Closed\/1\/1\/0\/default-group&amp;+identifier\/desc\">Rural Renaissance Calls<\/a> have a budget of \u20ac263 million for greener and more circular rural areas.
